Simply put, Earthing is nothing more than reconnecting your feet with the Earth.
Just as the sun gives us warmth and vitamin D, the Earth underfoot gives us food and water, a surface to walk, sit, stand, play, and build on, and something you never, ever thought about—an eternal, natural, and gentle energy.

I didn't wear shoes until I was about 22 years old when I entered the Corporate world and began a cycle of business-casual clothing and practical shoes (even during my Corporate days I was never a heel-wearer). Flash forward a decade or so (ok, maybe even longer than that) and I hear about "Earthing". I watched the video below and so many things clicked for me.
After watching the above video, I immediately ordered my first grounding mat to place under my desk while I worked. I receive the mat, excitedly plug it in, take off my shoes, place them upon the mat and it was AH-mazing. I immediately had the sensation of being pulled downwards. Almost as if I was made of honey and I was 'melting' into the ground. Although that might sound alarming, it was quite the opposite... It was fantastic. I felt so calm. I felt grounded. My mind was quiet. It was terrific. Soon afterwards I purchased a few more mats for my friends. Next came the Earthing throw blanket. And as expected, it too is amazing!
